Reflection
Above is my Film Festival film that I made. For the film I chose the second script about a teenage boy who would rather stay home than go to collage. He calls his friend to ask if he would like to play Xbox and drink beer, the friend refuses. I feel that the filming went well considering that it was done as a referral with a limited amount of time until the first deadline. Also the actors (my mom and brother) did an acceptable job even though they had little time to prepare.
What went well: like I said the actors did a good job but I am also pleased with myself. The scenes where well put together, with one acceptation that I will get to later, and although it was done with imovie on my phone rather than with Adobe Premier Pro it has good editing quality overall.
What went wrong: the biggest problem was that during one scene where I told the camera operator to 'stop recording' and I didn't edit that part out making a sever difference to the film.
The reason why the unedited part managed to slip through is because I did not check the final product correctly with the reason of this being that I felt rushed to have it edited & published. If I where to do this project again then I would have made sure that I looked through the whole video to make sure that no hiccups like the 'stop recording' incident happen again.
